DA 7652 Commanders Functional Statement

I was told to fill it out my damn self so that is what I am doing. Anyone help me with it though ? PLEASEEEEE (:

They won't even let me see my Commander's Statement. Who knows what she said.

As Sascha referred to, you not only have a legal right to review all documents (including commanders letter) in you MEB packet and you are obligated to do so. Your PEBLO must allow you to review it -- it's part of the process.
 
Wow never seen it. I got a packet, but they said I wasn't allowed to see the Commander's statement. I am going to go in there tomorrow and make sure I get it.
 
They would let me see mine as well. Good or bad, I gave up and just let it go. I appealed and went to the FPEB where I told them I was denied these records and jaws dropped. I received a copy on the spot and found out why they did not want me to see it. They made me out to be the most handicapped person around. It stated that either 1 1/2 or 2 1/2 people followed me daily to correct all my mistakes, worked for me. They also tried to keep my mental health records from me as well but that is another story.

It may be a good sign for you as well but they are hiding it from you because they are concerned of your actions when you see it. I would probably contact legal and press for it, how do you make a responsible decision when you can't see the evidence.

So, will your PEBLO not let you see your commanders statement? I would email your PEBLO asking him/her why they wouldn't allow you to review commanders statement -- try your best to get in "writing" that they wouldn't let you review your entire MEB packet before being sent to PEB. Because that is a clear disregard of MEB/PEB proceedings directive...and may I say unlawful. If you have MEB Legal Outreach, please contact them and inform them of what's going on. Jeep Freak said it best, "how do you make a responsible decision when you can't see the evidence." And that is why the review process exists.
