DD-214 Confusion

Hello everyone,

I was hoping to clear confusion w/ DD-214. My DOD disability is 70%, so I'll be medically retired (Permanant, not Temp). Retirment date is 28 Dec

Should I expect to get my DD-214 before my separation date? Or, will it be mailed like in recent years.

Thanks in advance for all the help!
 
I have received advice to ensure that I receive a copy of my DD214 in the checkout process, and ensure that everything is accurate on it.
