DD214 Question

So I received my DD214 and everything looks correct. My question is do I need to submit that to the VA or does it automatically get submitted in the IDES process? I can see my claim has moved to step 5 of 8 and I am worried if I submit my 214 it will go back to step 3. Any help is much appreciated.

Almost nothing is automatic. Submit your DD-214 via QuickSubmit ASAP and send a copy to your MSC for redundancy.
