DES Outrage of the Week # 8 - DoD's CRSC Calculation Glitch

Ok, so now i can at least see the math, i thank you for that, I don't agree with the whole "off set" plan but I do understand how they came up with it mathematically. And now i can at least explain it to him and others.
So let's say he files for and receives Individual unemployability from the VA. This would increase his VA compensation significantly but would it in turn lower his CRSC payment ?
Unfortunately I think it would as it would increase his off set ? is this correct? have you seen this before ?

I have seen CRSC go down when the DoD rating went up but this was due to the CRSC glitch and this should no longer happen. He should not have a decrease in CRSC if he get IU assuming his combat related % stays the same or higher. His CRSC limiting factor right now is the LOS amount so unless his VA compensation for combat related conditions drops below his LOS amount, his CRSC should stay the same.

Again, he should never get less than his total VA plus his LOS retirement amount assuming the VA comp for combat related disability continues to exceed his LOS amount.
