Thank you!Medical Officer > Presiding Officer > 3rd Officer (potentially) > Unfit/Fit >VA Disability Rating Officer (if UNFIT) >Post VA Quality Assurance > Results
Assuming their are no issues at those steps this would be the process.
No problemThank you!
So post VA Quality Assurance is the same as QA? I’m trying to figure out are they the same thing or 2 different stepsMedical Officer > Presiding Officer > 3rd Officer (potentially) > Unfit/Fit >VA Disability Rating Officer (if UNFIT) >Post VA Quality Assurance > Results

So that depends on what part of the process you are in. When your package initially gets sent to the PEB it goes through a QA Admin step to make sure everything is good for it to go to sit in the queue for the Medical Officer. Im past the MO nowSo that depends on what part of the process you are in. When your package initially gets sent to the PEB it goes through a QA Admin step to make sure everything is good for it to go to sit in the queue for the Medical Officer. Where are you in the PEB process?
Ok so once the PEB determines UNFIT (if that is what they do) then the next time you hear anything from your PEBLO or DES lawyer about POST VA QA READY, that means you are on the last step before findings are sent to the PEBLO.Im past the MO now
Your DES lawyer.is there a way to figure out where im at without my peplo? specifically told me not to contact her once she sent my package up and said if I did she would not respond, been almost 3 months since then
Gotcha. My attorney didn’t say much. He only said it was with QA and I’m most likely unfit. I’m like some peoples attorney have a lot of information and some don’t guess the wait continuesOk so once the PEB determines UNFIT (if that is what they do) then the next time you hear anything from your PEBLO or DES lawyer about POST VA QA READY, that means you are on the last step before findings are sent to the PEBLO.
...I got a call from a *67 nember to tell me they had all my stuff (NMA, QTC, etc) and said it was good to send upYour DES lawyer.
guess ill just be in the dark the whole time
My case has been at the PEB since April 7th. Are the PEBLO’s the only ones that have the ability/resources to track through the PEB process? I’ve been fortunate my MEB process was rather quick. But my PEBLO seems like most, useless. So that depends on what part of the process you are in. I dislike working with my PEBLO as she is always so swamped in her work and it's a bother for me to add onto her workload... I've been running work-arounds on that situation with utilizing my DES Attorney as she has access to the same information as the PEBLO and if that fails, the fall back I've been using is through the Wounded Warrior Regiment 24/7 Call Center or going to Wounded Warrior Battalion (East or West) and giving them a phone call when I am wanting to see if there is a case update. You can google for the numbers or you can PM me an I can share contacts I have. I've also seen some people posting that they're able to walk into their PEBLO's office or Medical Center but I am in the Mid-west on a Space Force Base- not a reality for me.My case has been at the PEB since April 7th. Yeah you were found unfit. My took a monthish to get all the way through QA so you should hear back by the end of the month. CongratsI just got an update from my PEBLO. "Location: VA Disability Rating Officer; Location Duration: 21 Days; Purpose: Cases undergoing VA Compensatory Rating"
Should I be getting an answer soon?!?! She said she doesn't know if they found me FIT/UNFIT..... but I can only imagine that they found me UNFIT if it went to VA compensatory rating. That's the only thing that makes sense to me. Why else would it be there so long?
