Donations and future plans for the site

Thanks to all of those who have donated!!

Just an update. I just paid $280 for two more years of hosting on the current plan. I did not upgrade the hosting plan at this time because it is not necessarily needed. (A better hosting plan would allow me to implement a better software environment, allow more resources, and make the site function better- though only marginally better than now. It would also make the site faster. I have not worried about this because the site seems to be functioning pretty well now. This might change in the future, i.e., we may need more server resources if there are more members, more resources, more video, or newer features). But, for now, we have at least 2 more years for the site hosting plan!

I just donated $100. I did this, because:

- it is clear that you donate a lot of your experience and time to those in need.
- this website has been a tremendous resource for me. Although I have not monetarily gained yet, it has given me the confidence to take on really powerful people who have harmed soldiers, and who are not following the rules. I haven't participated much in the forums until recently, but the site has been with me for awhile.
- I'm impressed with the content, users, moderators, everything.
- I want to get National Guard soldiers excited about fighting back.

I'm committing to giving $100 a month for 3 more months (last payment June 15th).

It is a good post, too, because it is timely and gives me a reason to update. I just paid for another 2 years of hosting and the domain (don't have the figures handy, but it was around $250) and have, in the next month, software renewal fee of $160. So, we are covered for the essentials and I will be looking at purchasing some upgrades to the software, too. (There are several that I am interested in....I think what I am going to do is to pick the top five features that I am considering adding, then link/describe them and let the forum members weigh in on what they think would be most useful).

Thanks to everyone who supports us (whether it be financially or by sharing and helping others with advice and feedback; the forums would not be the same without the support)!
 
PayPal was acting weird. Just sent 10$ through the PayPal app. The button kept saying it wouldn't process.

Not sure I can "troubleshoot" that one....maybe, it is an "app" issue and try via the website? Either way, the effort is greatly appreciated!!
 
The app went fine. For some reason the Mobile site through the button kept hiccuping. Might be the browser or settings on the phone. Had this issue before.
 
It worked- got notification of the donation via email. Thanks again!
