E-Benefits new message? Did you get it?

Who else got this message on ebenefits: Your regional office can't give an estimated wait time on your claim (something similar to that) ? It seems to be widespread 5 people including myself had their estimated wait times changed from xx estimated dates, to that message over the weekend when ebenefits was going through maintenance. Did it happen to anyone else?

I just spoke with the VA and I was told this is because the DOD is still handling my case and it wont change until I get my DD-214, first time I got a straight answer from anyone, but apparently it means nothing.

What number did you call for the IPEB, I cant seem to find one that wont refer me back to my PEBLO.

My ebenefits also got changed to "Your regional office can't give an estimated wait time on your claim." Originally said 10/13-10/23. I've been stuck at Pending Decision Approval for months.

Mine changed to the same this weekend while the site was down for maintenance.

Indeed, I have two active DoVA disability claims at this point in time as a military disabled veteran; one pending NOD appeal & one pending compensation.

As such, prior to this previous weekend's DoVA eBenefits maintenance updates, I had specific timeframes for the estimated completion on both aforementioned DoVA disability claims.

Afterwards, unfortunately, I am now receiving the "At this time, your Regional Office is unable to provide an estimated completion date for this type of claim" within the estimated completion field of claim details too.

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer."

Best Wishes!

In my opinion, if you are using eBenefits as a benchmark on the timeliness in which your claim is completed, you are setting yourself up for dissapointment.

Yeah definitely true. On the other side of things though, it's my only resource besides this site. My PEBLO (USMC) has continued to tell me from day one that once my package has been sent up that no one can give any updates, not even himself. I've called him, my MSC, the VA, and the IPEB...all multiple times and he's right...no info. So as broken as ebenefits is, it's the only thing I have with any info regarding where I'm at with anything.

All you can really do is wait, and wait, and wait. It sucks, trust me I know. It took me nearly five years to go through the IDES.

Once you do get the final rating, things can go very fast, so make sure you have a plan in place.

5 years? How many times did they say fit? That's ridiculous
