So I got the much awaited news today...my new EAS posted as April 29, 2016. However this date does not allow me sufficient time to check out and be able to take terminal leave (47 days on the books currently) and the 20 days for house hunting/job search which my PEBLO assured me I would get. The only way for me to have sufficient time to finish TRS, schedule DMO, and check out would be if my EAS was moved to the end of May. I am calling my Peblo first thing in the morning but wondering if anyone has experience with getting their EAS pushed back to accommodate their check out process and terminal?

Hqmc call them man they will figure you out.
Just for future reference in case someone reads this thread and has the same question as I had. According to HQMC, they can push back your EAS by 30 days to accommodate your check out process, all they need is an email from your career planner expressing the need for an extension and it has to be CC'd to your CO and SgtMaj. Once HQMC receives the email it takes one business day to reflect on MOL.
