The PEB has provided me with an index number and claimed they have sent my findings and election of options to be processed down at HQMC in Quantico, VA. However when I contact HQMC's MMSR-4 they claim that they have not recieved my index yet. Where is the miscommunication?
How long ago did the peb say they had your index #? Mmsr-4 was getting indexes like every two weeks and they kept telling me that the peb sends them all at once and "there is no set schedule" for when the peb actually sends them...they are supposed to get them such and such day but don't...it was frustrating (this was just 2 months ago). I called mmsr-4 just about everyday. They didn't have my index on a Wednesday or Thursday late afternoon...then no shit, the very next morning at like 0600...I checked my mol...thinking why the hell am I even checking...they JUST said they didn't have it...sure enough, my EAS was updated. I don't have an answer to your question as to where the lack of comm is but in my experience, my mol actually gave me the most up to date info...surprisingly.
I was told that the PEB sent my index Friday, June 10, 2016. That is also when I recieved the index number.
I signed my findings 23 days ago.
The major issue is trying to plan moving my family. I.E. Breaking my current lease. Talking to DMO and securing a new place where I am moving. All things I need orders/EAS date to do.
How long after the PEB received your case back from the VA raters did they take to contact you regarding your index and findings ? I am curios as they received mine back on May 28th and the PEBLO said there is a QA phase that takes a couple weeks before they will contact me with the official findings.
Man it's so frustrating playing this waiting game. I have had to contact people in order to find out anything as well. No one contacts me unless I bug them.

I hope you hear something soon. That's one thing I thought about is I don't want to pester people too much because they then won't help. Not that I am getting much now anyway. I haven't even gotten my findings yet so I continue to stare at the walls and wait.
The military PEBLO will tell you to wait until 30 days then he'll email the powers that be and see what's up...if you're in Lejeune you could go hit up Gunny B or Gunny J...and let them know what's up but they won't care too much until 30 days...you could just let them know that the PEB said this and mmsr-4 is saying that...and you just want to make sure that your index didn't get "lost".
Funny thing about that. My PEBLO retired two days after I signed my findings and I was told the president of the PEB will be my "acting PEBLO". However since his primary job does not involve being a PEBLO he hates when I contact him.

What???? That is crazy! Are you at Lejeune? Jw...because there are 2 military PEBLOs and maybe you could go to the other one and see wtf is going on. Also keep on mmsr-4 obviously but I know you're most likely already doing that...and like I said, my MOL updated before anyone "knew" anything.
I signed for my findings on June 2nd. Today started the 3rd week after signing. My EAS was updated this morning to reflect August 30. I have 40 days of leave and 30 days of PTAD so I am going to sell back 15 days and take the rest terminal. Plus I am taking 4 days of leave this next weekend starting Saturday to take my kids back home before we move. Requesting July 6 for terminal!!! I can't wait either. I start my new job July 18th!!!
There is hope gents. I lost quite a bit of it for the longest time but in due time it all works out. Try to stay positive and take full advantage of your current pay check and job stability you have.
