ebenefits

So i've been stuck at gathering of evidence for a few weeks so I called VA and they told me that all is done on their part, my packet is at PEB waiting on 199 and that the reason it says "gathering of evidence" is because they are waiting on my service records. Is that my DD214..or?

I am at the same spot and I called the 1-800 line and got my proposed ratings and they said the form they need is my dd214 to process my claim so I can start receiving compensastion

We might be on the same time line. When did you start the Peb process

  1. Ortho suggested MEB - 7/25/2016
  2. PCM appt - 8/3/2016
  3. PCM requests Commander/supervisor survey of injury- 8/4/2016
  4. PCM appt to turn in survey from commander / supervisor for P3 -8/10/2016
  5. P3 issued with 2 signatures- 8/10/2016
  6. Peblo email/ ides process starts-8/10/2016
  7. Turn in paperwork via email to Peblo- 8/11/2016
  8. Commanders statement complete and submitted- 8/11/2016
  9. appointment with TDY coordinator-8/16/2016
  10. Ides initial counsel-8/17/2016

Wondering how long it takes after PEB gets VA ratings to get the DoD/VA ratings and decision

I'm wondering the same thing, Ive gotten 3 different answers, my peblo sux always gives me the book answer of 3-6 months...everytime i call for anything he immediately says 3-6 months..smh..I hear they have some type of upgrade to the system though and everything is halted until Dec 8...sigh really wanted to be home by the new year

My PEBLO wont give me any info other than I will get my unfit/fit decision and VA DoD ratings all at the same time!!! She hasn't even told me if I am fit/unfit yet even though I know others get their unfit decision sooner

If you are army here is a number to call the PEB to see if your packet is sent to your peblo. 1-877-577-3065 The reason is I called the number and my peblo has had my 199 since the 17th and never called me. The actually looked at it and everything and all she had to do was push print. Then I went straight to my peblo's boss cause she was not in. When you talk to them tell them you have tried to get ahold of your peblo for a week and even tried to get ahold of their boss and they will look into the system to see where it is.

when i asked about my unfit/fit status my peblo said and I quote "theres no notification, when I call you then your fit for duty if i dont call you that means your unfit"...i was like ummmmm...so I've been reaching out to my MSC

I'm Army I'll try calling, its just annoying that the PEBLOs are suppose to be here for us but act like we are bothering them..at least thats my experience. My peblo's even sends emails to a group of us stating "the army ides dashboard is the same information that we have, and then proceeded to send a slideshow on how to read the dashboard" so annoyed. trust me when I am done with this process, they are getting a nice long ICE comment card

I just spoke with my PEBLO, and she said they are changing out the database used to track the information, and none of the PEBLOs will be able to access the website until 9 December...sucks for those of us waiting on PEB results.

Is it just me or do all of you feel you have to beg for information and to be updated? Every time I need information, I have to find it by back-dooring the system.

No i completely agree I want to write a handbook for members so when they start out they stop repeating the process all of us have gone through

My package went historical on June 7th and the VA sent it back to the PEB. The VA said the PEB received my package on the 10th of June. So it took some time. I received my ratings Aug 1st. Hope that helps. It is not a speedy process unfortunately.
