It's been 52 days since they finished your ratings and notified you that you would receive them via mail? If so, chat with them on their site. I just did and the rep said it has to be 10 mailing days after your notification letter was sent.
I was never notified from the VA at any time. My E-Benefits updated and closed out my IDES case May 27th. I asked my PEBLO and the PEB received my packaged back on May 28th. I have never received any letter or other notification. I ask my PEBLO every week and get the same answer, "Any day now" or "In a couple weeks"
I get even less luck actually chatting with the VA. They cant help me try the other link etc.
I verbatim typed in what @bcberry typed except with my info of course they gave me the whole speel on how my PEBLO should've received it I told them they told me they hadn't kept prodding them to fax to me they asked me some questions then faxed it 9 pages later and I'm good
That's good I'm going to try and do that today with the va. I'm just waiting until I hit sixty days post va at peb waiting for dod ratings once that happens I'll be calling my PEBLO every day
We got our UNFIT ratings today. My husband is NOT HAPPY.
For ulcerative colitis and UC-related arthritis my husband received 10%, plus a severance for his separation. On the VA side, he received 50%, but they didn't even count his sleep apnea with a CPAP machine...they gave him zero percent on that. Not to mention that the intake paperwork with his findings states the incorrect name; it has his middle and last name on every single page. The PEBLO didn't even catch it. That alone does not give us faith in this military IDES process.
Next up, we talked to a lawyer who said we can get 30% due to multiple flares since he submitted the paperwork in January. We have new medical evidence on file to submit. There's apparently no clarification even on the VA end for what is "frequent" vs "infrequent" which is what they claim my husband's condition is.
Should we contact DAV at this point? Or should we wait? Here we thought we would be easily retired at 30% and ready to move back home so we can be settled in time for our baby to arrive. NOPE!
Sorry for the vent....but any advice would be appreciated!!! Especially from anyone who has IBD or ulcerative colitis and has successfully appealed a PEB decision.

Wow what a joke. I just got the call today and was told that since I'm a mobilized reservist that I didn't get a DoD rating. They acted like my injuries occurred when I wasn't on orders. I've been on orders for 6 years with no break. Almost 12 years total time in service.
I'm talking to the PEBLO and lawyer tomorrow and will be getting a formal board.
I hope that you can get help. I will most likely just utilize the lawyer as he seems to be savvy towards this nonsense.
@navywife2010 maybe they stopped giving anything for sleep apnea, I had claimed it as well, I will let you know what they rate me at when I get my ratings... I know for a while they were talking about ending a percentage for sleep apnea maybe they have started...

I also heard rumor mill about this. Following. It's interesting how some things could no longer become compensated disabilities once it gets "too expensive."

Oh I'm very happy with my VA ratings (80%) but how the board said I was unfit and didn't give me DoD ratings is total BS. Obviously someone screwed up and assumed I'm a drilling reservist when I've only ever been active duty or mobilized. So yes very frustrating but I'll be speaking with the lawyer about getting a formal board. I will update my thread as well with my process/information for everyone.
I got my va ratings faxed to me yesterday. With that little trick we were told about on here they proposed 40 for me with 0 for a bunch of other stuff I'm debating about just taking it and I'll get more once I get out with a reconsideration hopefully. I'm still waiting on DOD so hopefully I'm not far behind you ... Sucks you got to fight for the DOD rating though
I'm glad to see it's been working for others as well and others are being able to get their ratings faxed. The waiting is torture some days. At least now we have a little more information to go off of.

That's what our PEBLO mentioned as well, but she said she wasn't sure if that went into effect. Isn't that part of her job? lol.
@Camp P Marine
Exactly. The minute things get too expensive, they don't want to pay for it. I can understand now why so many veterans get frustrated by the VA and system. It takes forever and to "prove" your condition is real takes an exact science when it comes to the wording. Our lawyer told us that the formal PEB proceedings were at 30 per week now down to 15 due to cutting personnel and staffing exactly in half.

I am happy that I have results, a little unsure about the TDRL part but it has been so hard on my family over the last 16 months of this process I cannot take another 2-4 months of the unknown. My unfitting condition is narcolepsy, the military still has a preconceived notion that someone can "get better" from this disorder...I struggle daily and without my wife's support I know that I wouldn't be as proactive as I currently am. I believe that with her help and guidance through the process I will eventually get it turned into PDRL.
The process this week has been a pain, I found out earlier in the week that I had been waiting so long due to my package getting lost initially at the board. This is the third FPEB case this has happened to at Camp Lejeune in the past couple of weeks. Yesterday, after the PEBLO stated no update and that it still showed waiting for signature I called the PEB and talked to a MSgt and a Lt who told me it was signed and being sent off today and I should hear something back next week and then magically the PEBLO called and told me he received my results to come in and get them in the morning.
Just stay persistent especially if you have been waiting a crazy amount of time, these are your results that govern your future, you have to advocate for your rights because no one is going to do it for you!
Unfortunately for them, most active duty and vets don't take crap and will push back. I have had friends and complete strangers say to fight the VA if they are not giving the proper ratings. It is a good thing most of us are persistent.
