Fed Shutdown

As of today, the gov. is still in shut down. The Senate passed a bill yesterday that would reopen the government, but the House of Representatives still needs to vote on it. They’re expected to do that on November 12.If the House approves the bill, it will then go to President Trump to sign. Only after he signs it will the government officially reopen. So for now, things are still on pause, but we’re very close to getting back to normal.

I'd bet it's a sure thing the bill will get passed on all levels because one could make the argument that the sitting party was victorious in this shutdown debacle. The only barrier to reopening the government will be the air traffic disruptions keeping the House members from convening the vote.

Air Force here, anybody receive word from their PEBLO when the FY26 Fund Cites will be loaded so they can start processing orders?

I received my PEB results 30 October, concurred and submitted pre-separation paperwork same day. Just waiting on orders now but word from AFPC is they are hard stopped on processing orders until the fund cites are loaded. Shutdown really screwed everyone's timelines, should have been on terminal leave for 5 weeks already.......

Got word from my PEBLO last week that they are processing orders, apparently someone from my base who has been waiting since 30 Sep got their orders last week, I’m obviously behind them in the queue so hopefully I’ll hear something this week.
