I'm nearing the end of my process as all I am now waiting for is a decision from the 16th AF CC and for orders, which i've been told should be just around the corner. That said, I thought I'd post my final timeline here for others to see. I am being dual-processed for a minor, non-misconduct issue and for Bipolar Disorder II. I have 8 years time in service.

It has been a very long process that has dragged it's feet with just about every step along the way, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel now finally after a 3 year long process. My contract expired in Dec 2023 and i've been extended four different times and been under 3 different commands since the start of this process. A part of me wishes i never spoke up about my mental health issues due to the lengthy process it initiated, but i'm happy its nearing the end. I'm looking forward to looking back on my 8 years of service with gratitude and appreciation for the resilience and mental fortitude it built in me.

Dear Lord in heaven, if my Navy Dual-Processing takes this long, my wife is going to not be happy. I'm so sorry all this is happening to you.
