JAN 30- Initial Counseling with PEBLO
FEB 15- VA DISABILITY CLAIMS
MARCH 09- FIRST VA C&P EXAM
MAY 09- LAST VA C&P EXAM
JULY 25- SIGNED NARSUM

this have been a very annoying and long process due to me having to go back and complete for exams for the VA. Does anyone have an estimate on VA ratings wait time. Also dooes anyone know which timeframe ill be complete? I was trying to start the fall college semester.
 
You are looking at a minimum of 2 months and upwards once the PEB accept your med package.
 
Your medboard package is now being sent to the PEB since you've signed your NARSUM. This is where fitness of duty is usually determined and when the VA will do their ratings. This process is around 8+ weeks. Could be shorter if you have minimal claims with strong evidence. Could be longer if you have multiple claims. I am on week 9 of waiting to hear back from my PEBLO what my ratings are.
 
FWIW, my experience more or less aligns with ericasue87. My packet was submitted to the PEB on the 16th of June. My VA claims closed out on the 19th of July. Still waiting for a response. There are a lot of variables that can influence the speed at which it goes, not the least of which includes complexity and number of claims. My assumption is that as it took you 60 days to complete your VA exams your situation is likely more complex or contains numerous claims. Given the current trends and that assumption the 4-6 week range may be a bit optimistic. If your plan is to attend school fulltime in fall your best bet is going to be an expedite memo if you have received an acceptance and I hope you have a lot of leave to back up your final out date as much as possible.
 
Case closed July 18th still waiting on my peblo to reach out to me for findings… I know I’m close but I am ready to move on with my life.
 
How can you see updates with medboard? I am currently also waiting for my ratings. It has been 7 weeks wednesday but I got told the 4-6 week time frame. Some people are having to wait 8 weeks.

I emailed my peblo and he told me i was found unfit and im waiting for ratings.

Also want to add I’m at 8 weeks since case was closed on the VA side. Lawyer said it’s still with QA? Any day now.

I think every post work’s different. My duty station is usually fast after va closed ratings.

The ratings and PEB are all done in the same place for each branch I’m usmc so timelines will be different
