Fort Eustis Timeline

my timeline is going to get thrown off a bit potentially. I just got diagnosed with Fibromyalgia yesterday which I know is an automatic referred condition. Now hopefully when I get my ratings back it will be at 30% so I don't have to go to a FPEB to get Fibromyalgia added on and can just add it at my exit interview. But on the plus side I know that I should be getting medically retired which is what I wanted anyways! Just hope that I find out by the end of this month...I am over this sitting and waiting since that's all Ive been doing the last year.

Sorry to hear about your new diagnosis. Upside is that you will get what you wanted. Hopefully, things will go as you hope! I know this waiting game sucks!

I am at FT Gordon now. I am finishing up my C&P Exams this week. I am hoping I can get in and out as quick as you!

Welp.. did NOT go well lol. 0% 70%. Getting severance. Good luck ya'll.

It was as confirmed that I was found unfit! Now hopefully the VA can get my ratings back in a timely manner. I am so over this hurry up and wait.

Mine says just closed too as of today, how long before my PEBLO should know ratings? I sent her an email telling her what I saw in VA.Gov. They wait is killing me. How long after I sign my ratings can I get orders???

Well my VA Claim got sent back to review of evidence...hopefully this means something will happen and it doesn’t get stuck but so much for getting my hopes up that it would be somewhat fast. Does anyone have any experience with this or had it happen to them?

A_Cio do you hear anything back yet. I’m new to the site. I’m getting medboarded out of fort eutis. I am waiting for the C&P exams to come back. It’s been sixty days.

I have not heard anything back yet. I'm over 100 days on waiting for the VA to apply my ratings. I expected some delay because of the holidays but that is when I actually got the most movement. In terms of the C&P exams mine took a total of over two weeks before getting back to the MEB. Often times what happens is either one of the QTP people haven't submitted it yet, or the VA needs another exam but has forgotten to get around to it. I would get in contact with your PEBLO or MSC to see what is going on with the C&P exams, and if you have the information for QTP you can try to reach out to them. Hope that you get something back soon because that's a long wait just for your exams.

Yea. My Peblo said that’s the standard right now. What’s a QTP? I have a lot of claims. Do you think that is slowing it down?

Once your ratings come back what are your last steps you would have to do? I see a lot of timelines and it’s a bit confusing. Thanks again.

Once your ratings come back you have two options:
Option 1: Agree with the findings.
Option 2: Appeal and go to a formal PEB.
If you have over 30% agree with the findings and become medically retired.
For me, I'm right on the cusp of whether or not I will get 30%. If I don't I will appeal, because I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia after my MEB was completed so it was not able to be added onto my file that went to the PEB. That will put me at 30% or more easily.

After all that, you come back together again and that is when you start getting put on the list to get out. The moment you sign and agree to your findings you have 90 days to out process and clear and take leave/ptdy. You don't have to take all 90 days, but that's the most that you can take. Hopefully this helps.

Yes it does. I appreciate it. What happens if you don’t have any leave once you have 90 days to get out? Will you just clear and be out?

That is correct. If you don't have any leave to take, your last day in the military will be the last day, versus taking x amount of leave and then being done.

Transitions/separations will take care of all of that though because they will be the ones who give you your last out date.

Ok so will it be the last day of the 90 days or the last day my unit gives me to clear? Thanks for your answers there helping me piece together this medboard maze
