So the DA 199, is that when you receive your rating from the VA? Or are you still waiting on that?

Pretty much, the DA 199 is technically the IPEB proceedings which lists your percentages.

Cool, so you're just waiting to get out now right?

yup, my PEBLO went on leave today. She'll be submitting my 199 up on Tuesday and then I'm just waiting for commander's counseling/DA 31 and I'll have orders

Nice. Good luck. 7 months ain't bad. Any idea when you'll final out?

They had me worried saying I'm sitting at over 400 days until my estimated completion date. I don't want to be here longer than a year! So, hopefully it goes smoothly.

Hey guys, I wanted to say hello. I'm @ Gordon and in the process also.

It took a month for the C&P results/NARSUM? Seems your process went to VA pretty quick from the initiation of the MEB. I heard the VA ratings takes forever. I am just ready to go... I'm still in early stages, as you can see from my timeline:

I'm thinking my NARSUM is going to be delayed more due to the holidays...

Yep, my 3947 and NARSUM took one month, i updated my timeline as things happened. With the holidays id estimate a 45 day turn around but you never can tell. Some take vacation and some don't. It will take a bit because once your QTC results come back the MEB doc has to annotate onto your 3947 and NARSUM. Once it's back, you'll have 10 days to have legal review it and sign. At that point it it will get forwarded to the PEB for the fit/unfir memo (mine took 2 days). The current timeline for VA ratings is averaging 148 days after your unfit memo is completed.

Notified by my commander that I should see my orders within the next 2 days. Keep your head up guys, Ft. Gordon is pretty quick at getting things done!

That's not a bad timeline at all... People at work telling me it'll probably take over a year. I've got my last QTC appointment tomorrow (hearing). What is your next step?

That's a good timeline cmjames, thanks for keeping us updated. Congrats on receipt of your 199, hope you were happy with the results. My unfit memo has been at VA since 13 Nov so i'm only 30 days into that process. I'm tracking 4 more months till my 199 and thats just fine with me. TRANSPOC should be your next step right? should show up on their list within a week. You might be on PTDY/Terminal before Christmas!
