Fort Polk iDES Timeline (thus far)

How are you getting updates? I asked my PEBLO and she honestly has 40 of us going thru meb now so i understand when she doesn't respond to every question I ask. Thanks in advance.
 
Early in my process I would just check My MEB/PEB in AKO and get calls from my PEBLO telling me that I had an appointment. After my head to toe it turned into a long waiting game, I usually get a status update from her every week or every other week.

This has become such a lengthy process. I feel like the Army is trying to wait me out and then low ball me so I just take it and run, which won't happen. I just hope all this waiting pays off some day. At least I'm still getting paid right? Before iDES I would more than likely be staying with a friend or relative waiting for the VA to finish this up with no income. If you guys are at Fort Polk, let me know how your case is going to, if it's slow for everyone I might feel a little better.

I spoke to my PEBLO this morning, and she said that there are 138 Soldier's with over 120 days awaiting ratings. Well I guess I feel better that I'm not alone. Another thing, she said she has also had cases start and finish within the timeline of mine, I knew a SFC who had that happen too, however he ended up with 0% from the Army, so maybe the Army ratings take longer than VA ratings. After all, the Army is one a time shot, and the VA can always be changed even when you get out of service.
 
That's insane! I was found unfit on 23 DEC 2011 and I was anticipating my ratings back about a month later from what my PEBLO told me. As of today(14 FEB 2012 I still do not have my ratings in. Seeing your timeline is pretty depressing. I've seen a few other people on here in the IDES system posting that they received their ratings approximately 1 month after they were found unfit. I really hope it doesn't take much longer now.

I remember hearing that "approximately 30-45 days" BS, and I'm still waiting around. My PEBLO said they are trying to hire people to help process all these cases, which doesn't sound like a quick fix at all. Best advice, is to just stay busy and try to forget about the process, and when you get that phone call you can act like you won the lottery, or appeal it depending on the results.

Yeah, it looks like I'm back at the waiting game. Hopefully, they will wait until May 15th for the orders to hit the system, then I will have 6 years on active duty with a bronze knot to add to my AGCM, another service stripe, and lets not forget about the clothing allowance.
 
Wow!!! I think that may be some BS their pulling on you, I got my orders 2 days after I got my results!! Call the PDA 8775773065 and see whats up!
 
@RyanR When did you get you results if you don't mind me asking? I'm going on a month with no orders...and my dream job waiting...
 
My MEB was received at Lewis PEB around 7-10FEB and I received results like 24 MARCH then received orders 2-3 days later (after I called PDA and got them to do them right away since I concurred) then outprocessed literally the next week and finished out

Two days!? Damn, its been more than two weeks, and they still have not "hit the system" according to the retirement section. Thank you for that number Ryan, I am going to call them today.
