National University is a good choice if you need a flexible fast paced degree format. They are very writing intensive and research oriented. I almost chose National when looking for a Masters program. I ended up going with Troy university because the program I wanted can be completed in a year with them (Masters in Human Resources Management).
National is Non-Profit, flexible, vet friendly, and has Regional Accreditation.
The only warning I want to give is the name may cause some hiring managers to take pause. Not nearly as much as Ashford or Phoenix, but still the name does not exude confidence for hiring managers. So you may need to be prepared to defend your school choice when looking for employment.
But, like I said, the pros in your case may likely out weigh the cons. Best of luck to you.
You can check out degreeinfo.com for more info. Though the site is mainly geared towards distance/online learning (something National Does well) it also has reviews with regards to some of the more popular open enrollment colleges.
