I'm getting closer to my formal hearing at the DC Naval Shipyard. My lawyer is Major Sloane and she has contacted me on numerous occassions for my information. Im ready to get this over. I have already been found unfit for rupture achillies tendon (20%) and i'm adding my back DDD (20% VA) and torn left hip labral tear (10%) and right hip bursittes (10%). Well meical documented w/MRI's and pain management. I will post my results, BUT ANY SUGGESTIONS?

30% TDRL
20% Achilles Tendon Rupture Left Leg, 5271
10% Left Hip Labral Tear 5253
Not combat related

Diagnoses 3 & 4 Right/Left Hallux Limitus/Rigidus, (5) Lumbar Degenerative Disc Disease and (6) Status Post Deep Venous Thrombosis left leg were considered Category III, conditions that are not separately or collectively, unfitting and do not contribute to the unfitting conditions. I accepted the findings when the lawyer called and told me the news and I wouldn't have to travel to DC.

Suggestion? I am a bit confused with your status. Are you saying that you have now waived a formal hearing? If so, there are no suggestions to give you.

Sorry for the confusion but I was asking for suggestions before I went to my FPEB but my lawyer called today with the TDRL (30%) which I accepted. I don't have to go to my formal hearing anymore but thanks in advance unless you have suggestions for TDRL.
