Negative.....looks like I'm FUBAR. I was really hoping to get kids settled, and I know you are in the same boat. I hope you get a call today.....damn! .... 5 weeks is just ridiculous.

Recieved Memo today for transitions, hope to get signed and delivered back by tomorrow so I can get seperation dates.
How long did it took to get your memo for transition its been 3 weeks now for me and still did not get it. I am in Bliss as well!
Hi, I apologize that I am talking about myself but im not sure where else to go on specific information for Fort Bliss Med board process. Tomorrow I am supposed to be making an appointment with the Dr. to see about my P3 profile. How long does it take after that is your COC notified that you are being MED Boarded and do they have and " fast track" to get the process started as I ETS on NOV 10, 2012 but would like and fully deserve and qualify for a MEB Board? How long on average on Fort Bliss does it take for it to be official that they initiated a MED Board on me? Thank you
As soon as your P3 is signed, the MEB process should begin. You will be looking at about 1 year, give or take, for the process to be completed. Your ETS date will be pushed back to allow for the MEB to get done.

Thank you. Im just frustrated. I went to see the Dr if the DR could give me a P3 Profile today and he said that he couldnt just give me one because he doesnt know me and has never meet me. I stated to my therapist that I wanted to get this ball rolling about 3 months ago and he has been dodging my calls and here we only see them once a month so I have to wait until the next appointment to talk to him in which he tells me he doesnt know anything about how to start the MEB Board process and he has to do research...He even told me to fill out a form and start the MEB Board process myself -_-....I am upset because I did what I was supposed to do..I asked his what was the next step and he kept telling me to come back and see him when in all actuality I needed to be talking to a DR. all along...now this process is in his hands and my P3 Profile being written all depends on a man who on ever appointment has to ask me who i am...Im all out of time and I feel like Ive been screwed and my COC want me out more than anything because they need my slot...I deserve and fully qualify for a MEB Board and its frustrating that I am just being thrown away by the Army when they feel they dont need me anymore.
So I got an appointment for the Behavioral Health Assessment Cinic for tomorrow and was told that I would find out then if i was being MEB boarded. Is that the appointment I needed from the MEB office to jump start the process before I can go to the briefing?
Hi, Im in the begaining phase of the MEB/PEB process, with the P3 you will need an IDES referral on the profile. If your trying to MEB/PEB for PTSD hopefully you will get it much sooner that later. The P3 must have in the comment's block MRDP stating that you don't meet the Army medical fittness standards. Now the next thing you will need is form 7652 signed by your CO and filled by him, yourself or your 1SGT. You can google the form, another thing you must be aware of just because you have a P3 doesn't make an MEB automatic. Your PCM or whomever recomended the P3 must show and have in your medical records that every means has been used by your PCM or Doctor, and there is nothing more they can do, to help you. Also remember that no matter what you read on this web site every MEB/PEB is different. This site has great info but again no two MED/PEB will be the same. Even if they have the same medical issues. For my case my P3 had to go before the PEB first to see even if I can be placed in IDES. What a shit fight that was. IF you can get the P3 with the MRDP and the 7652 done and turned in at the same time it will get this process rolling. Be prepared for a long shit fight, an MEB/PEB is not easy here on FT Bliss.
So I got my assessment and got my p3 profile and was told my MEB board started today. My Final out date is 8 Nov 12 and i think my COC is gonna try and wait it out instead of signing my extension until then because when i told my coc they didnt even respond with anything about it like i never told them. So if they dont sign it do i get out even though my meb board has started or do i have to get out, do they have to sign it or not? Who do i talk to about this?
First since you got your P3 today. It wont be in IDES until Monday or Tuesday. You can take your P3 to the IDES on Biggs and see if they can help you. If you have your COC get that form 7652 filled out tomorrow and turn that in with your P3 at the IDES BLDG, not sure it will help because you final out on the 8th. I'm not sure you will make it because the MEB has to first confirm your P3 and you will been seen by a number of people before you even have a chance to see a PEBLO. Bliss is not know for fast service when it comes to the MEB. Here is the direct line to head of the MEB/PEB at Biggs. He is Maj Shonefield 742-5050. Just speak to him let know what's up with your situation. He will be on the level with you. He has help me out alot so maybe he will be able to help you. But you need to have the 7652 complete and signed by your CO. You can fill it out for him then get him to sign it. Hope this helps!
The IDES is on Biggs right across the centennial club there is a shoppette in front of it. On the 7652 your CO can just take his time filling it out. You only have 6 working days left. Once a MEB/PEB gets rolling you won't PCS ETS or Retire until it's complete. You just waited to late to get the MEB moving. Just call the MAJ in the morning and see what he say's!
I believe it is the PEBLO that does your extension. Your coc has no say in the matter.
