I've found this website very helpful, so thought I'd post my timeline. MEB processing through Ft Meade. 7 yr TIS. Had a rocky start to the process and thus a lot of time to think. Originally wanted to fight the MEB and remain in, but have since reconsidered. I also planned to do CSP/Skillbridge which is why I completed TAP before receiving the NARSUM, but lost interest.

Good luck man, I'm about 2 weeks ahead of you but who knows how these things go. How many claims did you submit? Hope it works in your favor!

Thanks! Same to you. I had 27 claims. The length of time it takes is an enigma to me lol.

2 weeks to outprocess was really overkill, but I wanted to be leisurely about it. Had to sell 1 day of leave and Commander only authorized 10 days pTDY.

Will continue to update as things happen.

Final update unless something worth sharing happens. Might be skewed due to govt shutdown. Claim step jumped around a bit before finalizing and was partially reopened - be patient. Before I got out my projected VA rating was 90%, but it ended up as 100%. Make sure you have savings as you won't get paid for a while.

17 Oct 25 - Enrolled in Tricare Prime
