Getting Frustrated with lost orders and no pay

So my husband had his last appeal in August 2nd and was found unfit and seperated with severance pay. He had to ask Ivan Walks for a copy of his orders because nobody ever sent him a copy of his orders after he got the results of he hearing and in the orders it said that all of paperwork was sent to DFAS. Well he kept calling and checking on his status and they were telling him that it was being processed then on Sept 21st we were told that the case was closed and re-opened on the same day. He asked why and the woman really could not tell us why. So he called his AW2 caseworker and wanted him to help look into it so he did and come to find out that DFAS didn't even have his orders for the severance pay they just had the suspend pay orders. So on Oct 9th we sent in a copy of the severance pay orders that we had received from Ivan Walks stating that he was supposed to be getting severance pay from DFAS and that they were supposed to have the orders back in Aug. My question is once they get the orders how long normally does it take. He has been on a Suspend pay status since Aug 13.

It really varies, anywhere from 30-90 days... :(

So we called DFAS after having the orders sent in again for a second time and they tell my hubby that there is no record of him in their system. He asked the lady what that means because he knows that the medical board sent in the orders once in August and then his AW2 worker sent them in again in Oct and she told him well that means your case has been processed and you were paid. He laughed and said well thats news to me because I never got any money and you guys were getting my retirement checks to me just fine. So if he has paperwork saying he is entitled to severence due to combate caused or related injuries and DFAS keeps losing his paperwork where the hell does he go from here.

Go hit up the PEBLO again and ask for some help, I'd also contact DAV, they will set you up with some good people to fix this!
