Getting orders cut after DA199

Was wondering if anyone knew of recent time frames of getting official orders/clearing papers after signing your DA199.

I have read where it can take up to two weeks to hit the TRANSPROC list, then you have to go through all of your briefings.

I just got my orders 3 weeks after signing the 199, but I had signed it over block leave. I got my orders Tuesday and they did my leave form, with 10 days to clear, 20 days PTDY and a final out of 43 April. I leave post 5 February. It should go very quickly for you after signing. Bob

YEP YEAH, I think there is no real answer to your question as if you look at my timeline I hit transpoc 2 days after signing my 199, I asked every person I seen about these timelines and was told it all depends on your PEBLO and retirement services I was very fortunate that everyone I have seen has not waited to input my info into each system. I was very prepared for every person I encountered and it payed off. Too bad I havent had the same outcome with SSDI but that's a different story. I hope you have the same fortune with the rest of your process.

Well, I've actually gotten more info from here than my PEBLO.

From this point forward, the PEBLO will actually be useful. They'll either schedule you your briefings and clearing appointments or set you up with a transition coordinator who will.

i signed my 199 on jan 27th 2014 60/60 tdrl and im still waiting on the damn PDIR to get to my peblo and chain of command, seems a little ridiculous to me. Anyone know how long it usually takes?

Hmm for me in reference to my official military disability retirement orders; it's 40+ days and still counting!

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer."
