Got this email...

Does this mean I am close??? Has anyone else gotten a response like this?

Trying not to read too much into it..

"Ma'am
The recommendation of the PDBR was forwarded to the Secretary of the Navy's Designated Decision authority in 31 JAN 17. Once a decision has been made in your case, you will be promptly notified. In accordance with DoD Instruction 6040.44, the Secretary must render a final decision within 45 days of receipt of such recommendation and notify covered individuals within 10 days of such decisions."
 
I got one of those when I was nearing the end. But for the Army the 45 days was nearly 7 months. From other Navy members who have posted they do seem to be much quicker than the Army. I'd say a couple more months.

So you are very close!!

Hoping you get the outcome you want!!
 
And I mean a couple months from the date they sent to the Navy.

I sure hope you hear something by the end of the month!
 
I got one of the them too in November but March 3 i received an email

We anticipate a published

decision within 45 days. The decision will be mailed to your address.

So if that is business days i still have until May 5,
I that is calendar days i still have until April 17

But we all know the military hurry up and wait :)

Email them back and ask them for a copy of that letter letter. They will attach one to the email for you to see what they sent to the navy.

Yes i just got all mine i had to ask for it by number and all. It kinda of a nice way to see what they are sending to your agency. They mest all mys stuff up.

So I asked for it and they said this:

Ms Campbell

We do not send out the recommendations. When your DDA makes a final decision and mails you the decision paperwork, it will be in there along with supporting documentation on how we reached our decision.
 
That is weired cause they were able to give me what they recommended me before after it was sent.

I would email them back and ask them what they recommended.
