Hello I am seeking advice on the likeliness of me getting an MEB.

I injured my knee two years ago received surgery for it
Did 9 months of recovery to find out my acl never caught

Got staged acl surgery
Received second surgery: a bone graft where they removed it

6 months later they went back in for the 3rd surgery and gave me another acl

i am now a few months post op doing physical therapy
my pain is never ending and really effects me daily negatively

at a follow up with ortho we decided MEB is my best option and he put in the note "likely MRDP Status"
"recommending him to PCM to discuss MEB options"

Will the PCM be able to initiate a MEB given my history of surgeries and pain?

It's possible. I tore my ACL in 2018 and after surgery was ready to make a full RTD before an MRI showed the graft failed. After deciding not to have the revision surgery done I was referred to MEB. I had a patellar tendon graft and the harvest site often get inflamed, along with frequent pain from a torn meniscus. They cited that and the failed graft in my report.

I'm currently in the IPEB stage of the medboard. Should be nearing the end soon. I can update you once the DOD rating comes back.

I opted to go through LDES instead of IDES in order to outprocess faster, so I was never reviewed by the VA. I’ll have to take care of that after I ETS.
