Help needed.

I have called my civilian PEBLO, my Military PEBLO, and the PEB. I am pretty lost right now.

Civ PEBLO says that my package is still in post VA phase. Going on 8 weeks there now. He says to call the mil PEBLO to get a more accurate estimate of completion for findings.

Mil PEBLO has nothing for me.

I call the PEB. Here's where it gets weird. Apparently my package has been logged into post VA Q&A...3 separate times. His files showed that my findings had already been sent to my PEBLO, and were sent back to the PEB. I never received a call, and never signed anything.

Here's where it gets more weird. I have already received my proposed VA ratings FROM THE VA in the mail. They rated me at 60%. The files that the PEB have state that my findings propose a 0% combined disability rating. Even though one of my boarded conditions rated a 50% VA rating by itself.

Now I'm waiting to see what my findings will be, and I'm anxious that they're gonna give me 0% for some odd reason. Which would make absolutely no sense.

What on earth is happening?

Firstly let me say that you waiting 8 weeks for the VA or PEB to be done with any portion of your case is not uncommon. I know it's not what anyone wants to hear but it's true.

The raters are supposed to go over your package then a second set of raters is supposed to do the same thing to ensure that are done right. Key word "supposed" to.

You want to find out what your Unfitting condition is rated at. If DoD rates you 0% then you would be entitled to Severence and the full disability payment after separating, with no payback of the severance pay.

So the DOD can completly rate you 0% but the VA will have all your combined disabilities rated.

Can you think of any reason why it would go back and forth 3 times to post-va, the most recent being 7 days ago?

Unfortunately I don't have access to the systems they utilize to track cases (MEDBOLTT, Army Safe, etc)

Post-VA is very similar to the "QA phase" in that it's more a blanket term they use for administrative purposes.

Good luck and stay patient. Trust me I know more than most how frustrating this system is but all the pain and waiting will be worth it.
