disabled Father in law had double knee surgery 2 yrs ago ad is going in for right knee revision due to bad replacement. during his first replacement he had his claim done and was being paid at 100% comp by VA within 3 weeks this time during his recovery due to non work around though he has filed all required paperwork and will be unemployed while he is recovering and went to benefits office and they cant find any of his paperwork he has time stamped copies but they refused they refused them and he told the clerks he was going to wait until they find his info and the VA escorted him out because they said there was nothing more they could do. Any and all help is appreciated we don't know what to do and he may becom homeless if we cant fix this issue. this is a service connected issue

Get him to a DAV through legion or the VFW asap, get the power of attorney done, and let them do their magic. That is the best advice I can offer, grandstanding on principal is fine and righteous and all, but does nothing with a $9 an hour clerk that gets verbally berated everyday.

So, did he re-do the paperwork that they lost?
