Ongoing cough for several years. VA orders a PFT, resulting in a Asthma diagnosis.
Though I've been on an emergency inhaler (Albuterol) every day for years, which has been the only thing to stop my coughing, the PFT results says I had no reaction to broncodillators.
My VA provider just prescribed me Wixela for daily use.
I have a C&P exam for the claim I put in, and I'm wondering how the rater/examiner will handle this apparent contradiction: That the PFT says I have no reaction to bronchodillators, and that I've been taking them for years to soothe my cough along with the fact my doctor has prescribed me a daily inhaler.
