How Does the VA Determine Rating?

Does the VA just look at C&P results or do they look at all my health records?

I just looked at my DBQ for mental health and its completely different than all of my records. They didn't even do anything for my referred condition MDD. They didn't even mark half of my symptoms. Like on this DBQ it looks like I have no panic attacks at all... I have like 2 at least a week which is documented through my mental health records. And that's just one of the symptoms he didn't mark.

If they dont look at my records and just go off the stupid dude, what is the process of getting this reevaluated? How long will that add to my timeline?
 
The VA looks at both your C&P exam and your medical records, but in practice the C&P often carries the most weight. If the DBQ is missing key info, you can request a review or file for a supplemental claim with supporting evidence
