Called the VA hotline 1-800 and they agreed to Fax the proposed Rating after we told them that we did not receive any letters or info yet (not sure if it was the proper way but it helps ease the mind to get an idea instead of just hanging in the air)

Any orders yet?I was told 10 days after signing 199 I could go on terminal leave provided you clear and everything quickly, I sign my 199 on the 8th and am trying to be out before the 6th of January.
When you sign the 199, does it go straight to the transitions office, or does it go somewhere else first?

And it goes to transition office, but depends on your peblo when they send it, here in fort stewart all the Peblo's keep all the 199's and send them to transition 2 times a month. Once in the beginning and once at the end
I was told today that they start receiving the 199 through e mails now and that after signing it goes back for review and than to transition --Not the answer we where hoping for :-( After signing it takes about 2-3 weeks to go to transition and another 1-2 weeks to get orders according to our Peblo -- this creates a bad hardship on us trying find a way to send family out of here ASAP and than follow once all is completed ( basically you can say about 4-5 weeks after signing you will have orders)

Where are you stationed?
From my understanding. Probably a Europe thing. I have to wait on my letter of release..gives me 90 days to be out. A lot of people get theirs within a week of signing. So im hoping ill get mine soon. Since I signed last friday

Just so I understand, the 199 goes back to the PEB after signature then to transitions? Not directly to transitions? I ask because Transitions doesn't have anything on me still.

So I signed my 199 9Dec and hit transpoc today with a NLT of 16March I have about 4 leave days saved up and I'm getting 20 days ptdy. "supposedly" I can request what day I want out I'm trying start leave early Jan and be out of army 29jan? So is that possible anybody know anything about this I'm not trying to be here till the end of feb.
I've never heard of requesting what day you want out without doing a 4187 with a specific reason on why which goes to personnel division. I haven't received orders just a NLT date they told me to choose a date before I get my clearing papers and orders and get assigned my technician. And my technician will cut my order based on the date I choose as long as it's not past my NLT date

Did you sign your 199? I finally got mine cause the system came up today and peblo got it for me before it went back down I'm supposed to see legal and sign it next Tuesday, January 3rd.
