Last week I got a response to my congressional inquiry about the status of my case. Which at this point has been at the BCNR for 14 months and 3 weeks now. They told me that on April 16 they did a final legal review. They told me the next step is adjudication and then a decision will be made and signed off. I was wondering how long is the adjudication to decision steps take? They didn’t give a timeframe on when things will be concluded. Just that they’re gonna adjudicate it.
It would really suck if they waited till the last minute before the 18 month mark to make a decision. From what I’ve heard I’m in the end game now.
It should be noted that while the boards do have that statutory requirement, none of them are in compliance and it can take significantly longer than 18 months. See the attached testimony regarding the BCNR.
I personally hope the adjudication doesn’t go on for 3 months.
