How long does it take from retirement date for the VA to officially certify your ratings?

I think it's kind of crazy that you don't retire from the service with the VA already recognizing the conditions and rating they "proposed" for you during the IPEB/PEB.

I'd like to apply for programs to reduce my tax burden, but I can't do it until the VA produces their official memo and updates the ebenefits website. It's been almost a month now!
 
It took about a month for my ratings to be finalized.
 
Not really that bad.mine took 1 month.retired may 28, I got my letter in early july .for me the property tax relief won't take affect until 2018. Could be different for different places.
