how long for a decision to overturn or send to FPEB?

Hello all,

Theres an update to my story, the board unfortunately found me fit (myself, everyone who has treated me, and my attorney were all in shock).
My question is, how long after my rebuttal was submitted does the IPEB have to either overturn their decision, or grant/decline a FPEB?

I found out after the GY on Lejeune called the formal board. They said they never received my board. So he contacted the informal board and they said it was overturned and headed to the VA. This happened about 5 weeks after I submitted my rebuttal. You can see my timeline in my signature.

Wow, sounds completely familiar to my case. My request went up 26 SEP. Technically, they have 15 days to respond, but who really knows.
 
I actually got official word today that the board overturned their decision, I am now officially UNFIT, no FPEB needed. It took about 2 weeks for the decision to be made.
 
So from the time you asked for reconsideration/FPEB, it took 4 months to hear that they had overturned your initial decision even though the second IPEB made their decision in about 2 weeks? Am I following the dates the right way?

For me, it took about 3 months from when my case was submitted to the IPEB for me to be notified that I was found FIT. Then, I had two weeks to prepare a rebuttal. After my rebuttal was submitted, it took only about 2 weeks for me to hear that the decision was overturned.
