How long for orders to WTU?

My BDE CSM recieved a call on 11JUN10 saying I was finally accepted into WTU. About how much long until I get orders to go or when can I expect to get transfered? Also, will this slow my process as far as PEB goes? Thank you

Is this like TPU for Navy? Transient Processing Unit? When I was on LIMDU my TPU orders said w/ in 5 days. My CO kept me where I was though. I don't know if I could have contested his request or not, appointments were more difficult being there. I'm on PEB now and nothing happened as far as orders. I kind of wish I had gotten TPU orders as my current command makes things more difficult than they should be also.

There is a stigma that goes along w/ being LIMDU or PEB or MEB, people think you're trying to pull on over and judge you. My air crew community was terrible, I force converted into an over manned rate, but being a downed aircrewman was miserable.

if you were accepted to WTu its now a matter of when your orders get cut and sent back to your unit, mine only took like a week or two.
