How long for ratings from IPEB?

Good morning. I am new to this forum so maybe this has been answered before.
I have been waiting for my packet to come back from the IPEB with my ratings. I was frustrated so I called the VA (after being on hold for 1 hour) told be that they had finished my preliminary rating on 26August. I called my PEBLO who said she didn't know anything and couldn't see anything and that I would probably be another 2-3 months before I heard anything and that I need to learn some patience (my MedBoard was initiated on 1March).
Anyways, from what I know this seems a bit long to get ratings back, no? I am utterly frustrated and I don't know where else to try and get any information from. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah so they basically don't give fit/unfits anymore. I called my PEBLO to ask and she basically told me that they're not supposed to tell, but normally if it goes to the VA your *whisperunfitwishper* cough. Lol.


I've been post VA waiting on the PEB qna and honestly, losing my mind. My unit is very bad at being helpful or supportive, life goals have all been pushed off.

I feel everyone's pain here. Just like a few others I've already passed my EAS and then some. Lol.

Just gotta stay positive.

They issue them to the PEBLO and they can tell you if they want to but don't have to anymore. If your case moves to the VA for ratings, you are UNFIT.
 
Just got my findings today. 20% dod 80% va. Signed them and will hopefully get orders and check out in 3 weeks if it goes quickly. How long does the checkout process usually take?

Sorry to inform you, but that really means nothing if you haven't had a second claim open up. I have been at that stage for about 2 months, and I don't have a fit/unfit finding yet. Hopefully yours goes fast.
 
So I went into the PEBLOs office today and asked to speak with the office manager or whoever is in charge. I was able to finally find out that there was a miscommunication with the VA system and PEB system and my ratings from VA never made it to PEB. They immediately pulled my ratings and will have my 199 done by tomorrow!
 
Hey everyone,

So VA finished my stuff 32 days ago and I received the "decision notification sent" and I've been waiting on my ratings.

Well, I just received the same update in my open claims section. Anybody got a clue?
 
It's so easy to think to myself...what's the point in stressing? Bi lateral hip impingement...unfit. Bi lateral hip impingement 20 percent and thigh ROM at 35 degrees, another 20 percent.

In my mind and from research, I am unfit and retired medically, but I can't stop seeing if there are any updates. First world problems I guess. Rant over.
 
My second claim says pending decision approval and development letter sent
 
So I am in the Navy. Does anyone know who I call to make sure the received my package to make my orders and DD214. My peblo said it takes 2-3 weeks for orders but this is cutting it close. If they come in on time I can checkout out November 17th and start PTDY and terminal leave. I though it was PSD but I didn't hear an option on the phone for orders.

I think its your PSD... maybe just call and ask what department handles that?

I can't find the department that does that at PSD. It's been 7 days, hoping to get them in the next 2 weeks to leave november 17th.
 
Finally signed 199 today!! 70 DOD 90 VA all combat related! Now waiting for orders
 
Called Providence VA today, they got my package from the PEB...today

awesome, I called personnel and they said they were waiting on pers which is navy personnel command in milington Tennessee and they said it can take 4-6 weeks for orders. First my peblo said up to 2-3, this is still frustrating getting the run around.
 
My case and a guy I worked with case were accepted by the PEB within a week of each other. When the VA does it's ratings and it goes back to the DOD for finalization and approval, it took him 49 days to get the phone call. My ratings have been back from the VA for 85 days and still waiting.. he had 4 claims and I have 7. Just to shed some light..
 
This is a fun little game...totally sarcastic. My new PEBLO said the VA is working on my percentages, but he cannot say I am officially unfit. Is there an estimated time it takes at the VA if I am already at pending decision approval?
