How long for ratings from IPEB?

Good morning. I am new to this forum so maybe this has been answered before.
I have been waiting for my packet to come back from the IPEB with my ratings. I was frustrated so I called the VA (after being on hold for 1 hour) told be that they had finished my preliminary rating on 26August. I called my PEBLO who said she didn't know anything and couldn't see anything and that I would probably be another 2-3 months before I heard anything and that I need to learn some patience (my MedBoard was initiated on 1March).
Anyways, from what I know this seems a bit long to get ratings back, no? I am utterly frustrated and I don't know where else to try and get any information from. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The VA finished my packet on the 26August and I've still heard nothing from anyone ....

I talked to my PEBLO today and he said yesterday he got an email saying after the va is done it's going to take the PEB 30 days or more to give you your ratings because they're short staffed right now, so perhaps that's why
 
VA has been done with my ratings for about 5 days now. I havent heard anything about my ratings. I've called the VA, tried VA chat...nothing. This is just one big waiting game.
 
I've had my stuff waiting at AFPC since the 29th. I called providence and they're all ready to go with my ratings, just need the Air Force to actually send them my stuff. AFPC only has 15 days to do it. Haha. I've been waiting longer than that, so who knows how long now.
 
The VA finished my claim and sent me my proposed ratings on 12AUG16, and the IPEB received it for final Q&A on 16AUG. I still have yet to receive my findings. I called the PEB last week and was told this part of the process takes 40-50 days, and to expect it to be on the longer end of 50 days.
 
I think I waited three months. Its in my timeline.
 
My VA ratings say complete as of 17AUG16 and it has been sitting in the PEB finding step ever since. I called my PEBLO and keep being told the PEB is backed up

I called the VA and asked for my proposed ratings notification letter, and with that it states "you have been found unfit to continue service by your branch of service". The PEB is extremely backed up right now apparently. I called my meblo yesterday and she pretty much scolded me for inquiring with the PEB in Washington. Her reasoning was that, "every time one of you calls, since the PEB is under staffed, you're taking time away from finishing the cases. Thus, you're ultimately screwing yourselves over by slowing things down. Be patient and stop calling them."

She has a good point and I understand where she's coming from. However, it's hard to just sit back and wait when the process has taken well over a year, as I'm sure many others are in the same boat. Fingers crossed something happens within the next couple of weeks. I'm hoping to be done and out of here by the end of October.

After it has been 10 days from completion of your claim via VA, call this number (800) 827-1000 and ask them to fax you your proposed ratings. They say they mail them out, but I never got mine. By their procedural compliance, they have to wait 10 days before they can personally fax them. Word of advice, don't try to call before the 10 day mark, or they'll just tell you to call back at 10 days.

Is this 10 days after your C&Ps are complete?

Awesome, glad to hear it.

Question though... they gave you DoD proposed ratings with your VA ratings? I only got VA... What branch are you if you don't mind me asking?
 
I called the VA this morning and the person I spoke to on the phone refused to fax my proposed ratings to me. She insisted that they were sent to my PEBLO and that the PEBLO is the only one who can do that. I also spoke to her supervisor at the VA who told me they weren't allowed to release that information to me. I'm not sure what to do.
Last time (Friday) when I contacted my PEBLO to inquire on my case status, she had her boss tell me that "I know this is a difficult time and it can be frustrating but you just need to be patient and wait until we contact you."
I need some suggestions about how to approach my PEBLO ... or other avenues to pursue to obtain information.
 
I received mine by talking to some on the VA chat. When she states that my ratings had been mailed out, I told her I didn't receive them and she faxed them to me with no problems. I'd try online chat and see where it gets you. It can take a bit to get through to them online though. Keep trying. Goodluck!
