How long until EAS Updates

I reviewed and signed my findings on 8 March, does anyone know how long it takes from returning it to IDES supervisor to HQMC updating MOS in MOL? And I'm not sure how terminal leave works, do you start you terminal once they update your MOS or do you put in the request for it once you see your new MOS. Also, if anyone has any info on how the check out process works with IPAC (i.e. when do you go, how do you go about getting your DD-214, and what paperwork do you need). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you get the EAS yet

Yea, it updated on Monday. 15 May. Tomorrow I pick up my DD214 and start terminal.
Congrats. Did you contact IPAC prior to your EAS? I dont know how much time they need for outbound interview, and I'm hoping I get may 15 as well, but times a ticking... Glad the MMSR4's "4-6 weeks" is an over exaggeration.

My S-1 said that since it's not a regular separation that contacting ipac wasn't necessary. I'm about to head over there so we'll see

Is it true you get 20 days for PTAD
According to the order you rate 20 days of transitional PTAD because you're being involuntarily separated

Invol separated is 10 days but if retired it’s 20. Also remember the command can say no to either.
This active MARADMIN was released in 2014 to clarify who rates the 20 days of PTAD. Read up to and including 4-F.
"F. OFFICERS AND ENLISTED MARINES WHO HAVE AN APPROVED SEPARATION FOR DISABILITY WITH SEVERANCE PAY OR DISABILITY WITHOUT SEVERANCE PAY."
More people need to be made aware of this MARADMIN.

Yep this right here. I would be careful saying "rate" the commander is "authorized" doesn't mean they wont and the most likely will allow it. But when Marines hear rate they tend to think it must get approved.
