How long did it take to get your NARSUM written?

A little glimpse into what im experiencing...
I was coded in Oct and since then crickets. Im located at a GSU and the PEBLOs are located about two hours away wont speak to us here because we dont have a case yet because there is no NARSUM. and since there is no NARSUM, AFPC has made no fit/unfit decision for a full MEB yet... Basically nothing as happened and it doesnt seem to be the norm based of a lot of other timelines I have read. Thoughts?

It takes however long your doctor wants it to. If your doctor doesn’t have any oversight, it can take over a year. I would just keep making appointments with your doctor. You can point out things like, you can’t deploy while you are waiting for an MEB, you can’t re-enlist while you’re coded 37, you can’t go TDY, you’re not eligible to retrain, etc etc. every time you go to an appointment use a different head scratcher. “I need to go to this TDY but I can’t because I have this darn code 37 and you haven’t done my NARSUM yet.” Better yet, if your commander cares, tell him/her that your doctor that they were supposed to have the NARSUM done in 45 days and now you’ve been mobility restricted this whole time for nothing.

You PCM appears to be the hold up. Schedule an appointment and ask him/her about the process.
