IDES TIMELINE QUESTION

Hello,
Im currently beginning my C&P exams and was given an estimate of 7-10 months several weeks ago as a seperation timeline, but these exams were scheduled incredibly fast and to my understanding can be what ends up making the process take so long. My question is this: given that my exams are happening this week , and the fact that my IDES process startedd in march , is it still realistic to expect 7-10 months? Really needing answers so I can figure out my familys housing situation!

Hi, I’m navy but I’ll give you what I’m going through. I started my IDES technically in January and I’m currently awaiting findings. They told me 6-9 months. The start day I think is when you’re referred. I didn’t meet a PEBLO till March and had my C&P exams done that month. The lawyer gave me a NLT last active duty day of Aug 30 with a VARR and 30 Jul without one. So if we go from my referral date, that’s like 6-7 months total. From my C&P exams, that’s 3-4 months. So long winded answer but it looks like they’re moving faster everywhere. However, it can really depend on your case, the VA, and the actual PEB.
