IDES Timeline - Walter Reed

When I called the PEB two weeks ago they said I’d have mine back in 1-2 weeks yet here we are so I’m sure it’s some kind of script they read. I also don’t know about TRS.
Ah okay thanks anyways. I wish they would give these hopeful hypotheticals. If they don’t know because stuff is super backed up, I’d rather hear that.

Well if that's true. Looks like we're all gonna get are findings back very close together. It'll feel like Christmas. I've been in the QA for just a little less than a month."571-442-0592" is supposedly the number for the PEB. I haven't been able to actually reach them. If someone wants to try it, and actually be able to speak with them please share it. Also another note my last command had screwed me and had not put me on TRS so I'm on a waiting list. Does anyone know anything around it / having an online course for TRS?
Have you reached out to your Education Center about TRS?

How do we check if your case is with QA is it a matter of calling the VA?

There is an online course for TRS don’t worry I had did it about 4 months ago you should be fine.

11/23/22 - Referred to MEB
11/29/22 - Legal/DES Brief
12/5/22 - Required docs sent to PEBLO
1/18/23 - VA MSC Appoitment
1/25/23 - VA documents submitted to MSC
2/1/23 - First C&P exam
2/17/23 - Final C&P exam
6/20/23 - PEBLO RECIEVED VA results
6/30/23 - Recieved NARSUM
7/5/23 - IMR request submitted
7/12/23 - IMR response
7/16/23 - Rebuttal Submitted
7/30/23 - Sur-Rebuttal Received
7/30/23 - Case forwarded to PEB
8/7/23 - Case accepted by PEB

Now time for another waiting game. This process has gone on forever for me, mostly due to my VA results being held up by Optum sitting on a correction request from the VA for 3 months. I hope to be out of here by Thanksgiving. Fingers crossed.
I have an extremely similar timeline to you. Case sent to PEB 31JUL. VA gave me proposed ratings 10AUG. PEBLO told me yesterday "Waiting to see if you're fit/unfit. They're totally swamped, 100s, mabye 1000s of cases" SMH. He also told me I'd get fit/unfit within 45 days. I'm thinking OCT-DEC, we will see.

I've heard a lot recently that proposed ratings don't change much, anyone verify this?

I’ve read and heard that the proposed usually don’t change. A marine in my shop did appeal to get 30% with the DoD and got less. I think DoD is the only one that can change like that(if you appeal)

Yeah same, appealing can get you lower, I remember my IDES attorney saying something similar

Makes sense they are this backed up since my case closed July 18 lol still no findings the Va dropped thousands of cases on the PEB/QA all at once.

Recieved my findings this morning. Speak to the lawyer tomorrow. I plan to accept the findings at this point. I’m happy with them, and I’m ready to move on. I’ve been on a limited profile for about two years. I’m ready to get out ASAP and start over.

Accepted my findings Wednesday, Nov 22 and sent to PEBLO. He said he sent to PEB right after. Will update once my EAS posts.

EAS posted as 20240215. I emailed MMSR-4 last Friday to update it and it posted this morning as 20231231. Trying to take transition PTAD starting this week.

How do they determine your new EAS date?
They factor in any leave you may have and the potential to take PTAD. After your EAS posts initially, you can email MMSR-4, CC your chain of command, and request a sooner date and they can change it.

I signed my findings 29NOV, I'm Navy tho. Waiting to get my new EAS. I think Navy assigns the new EAS differently than Marine Corps, I was told to not expect that much terminal leave despite having 60 days of leave banked.
