I have been in limbo, just waiting for my VA. I call them once a week now, just keep getting told I'm in the decision phase, whatever that means. I was originally told to expect being out in January but at this rate I wont be surprised if its February or March. Hope this helps others get an idea on the timeline. Anyone know when I should expect to actually hear from the VA? getting antsy waiting on them :/

I've been calling the VA once a week as well and get told the same thing. I've been in the decision phase since 17 September. i know how the whole getting antsy part is.

I got myFSS email on OCT 2nd and I was told on OCT 10 the IPEB found me unfit for duty and sent a request to the VA for ratings. Its day 60 now and I'm still waiting on my ratings. They keep saying "the proposed ratings have not been finalised".

I'm on the same timeline as you basically. I got my FSS email on Oct. 3 and I'm still waiting for any updates I can get. Have you heard anything new yet?

No and I'm gonna rant a little because I'm so mad about how slow the VA and the whole IDES process has been with everything. My PEBLO and the VA said my case has been with a rater and I'm just waiting for the rater to finish finalizing the ratings before sending it to the DOD....they might as well have told me to go fuck myself because that's the same thing the VA and my PEBLO told me over 6 weeks ago.
 
I was referred and started my process in December 23
I finished my exams by April 8th 24
my DBQs weren't uploaded until August
and I didn't sign my 618 until October 10th.

I have heard nothing and am past angsty. Not to mention I am now pregnant and would like to be with my SO and not stuck at base. I thought my case would be pretty sraight forward since it was mental health that was my disqualifying factor and I had been in treatments for 4 years. Dont understand what's taking so long.

I really hate the lack of information we get as the goddamn paitent. You'd think the person the medical case is about would know everything every step of the way.

I agree, I got extended for 6 months because of this and I'm about to reach that date, meaning I might have to extend for another 6 months. Tired of hearing the same thing over and over again for months. (I did get told like two weeks ago by my PEBLO that someone here at my base got their ratings and we turned our forms in at the exact same time, so I don't know how that works cause I've gotten nothing)

its driving me nuts, I thought this would be quick but im nervous ill be stuck giving birth at my pds. I dont get why this is dragging on for so long

They are telling me they haven't heard from IPEB. It's been 45 days since I got myfss email. Do they say this to you to or is something wrong?
 
How did you get notified that your ARILO was moved to the full MEB? I think I'm just before that step but getting providers to tell me is like pulling teeth

Doesnt sound like anything is wrong. Ask your PEBLO if you're case is "Pending DRAS"( i think it stands for Disability Rating Assignment System). If yes, you are "unofficially" found unfit for duty by the IPEB and they are waiting for the ratings on your unfitting conditions to determine your DoD ratings. The IPEB wouldn't send the VA a request for ratings unless they found you unfit for duty. Also they wouldn't notify you until the process is complete; Meaning ratings come back to them so they can determine if you'll be medically retired or seperated with severance. The problem is the VA is slow as snails and the DoD could care less how slow the VA is.

I received an email and phone call from my PEBLO and that's when they scheduled for me to come in for my initial brief.

How did you find out about the IPEB determination? My PEBLO says she doesn't receive updates and I just got off the phone with the VA Regional Office who said they are still waiting on IPEB decision. It's been 60 days since I was submitted.

My attorney from the ODC saw it on his end and told me. He said he saw the IPEB disposition and even the date that the request was sent from the IPEB to the VA to have my ratings done.

I just got off the phone with my PEBLO and he said I have been pending DRAS since 19 November with 2 cases ahead of mine. so hopefully i will get updates these next few weeks.
