IDES Timeline

Hey yall!! Im a new here.

If the airforce medical group sent an airmen to a mental health hospital for a 30 day stay, and was told they needed to stay an additional 2 weeks bc his mental health is so bad. He was diagnosed with PTSD, Major Depression, Anxiety, and Insomnia. After hospital stay in intensive outpatient therapy... When should he have been referred to IDES?
It takes take. After you’re in and out patient, you should be place on a high vis list for weekly MH appointments for 4 weeks. After that, they started mine. I exited inpatient at the meadows in April 2022, started IDES in June or July.

Im in the same boat as you with my last paycheck. Command hasn’t submitted my separation paperwork and won’t respond to my calls or emails. If you figure it out let me know lol
Just got an update from DFAS, that they received my separation worksheet. Hopefully it's correct the third time around. Now it's just another 30-120 days for them to complete an audit. :(

So apparently IPEB decision was made on October 20, and as of October 27, my case was with the VA rating and quality review. Does this mean I was found unfit? And how long does it normally take for the VA rating and quality review to complete?

Right now people are waiting 15+ weeks since the VA is backlogged and it’s a first come first serve basis, however, mine got done in 7 weeks.

I’d say you were found unfit yes

Here's an updated timeline for everyone. I am currently just waiting on the VA ratings, claims have been at the decision phase for 2 months... IDES lawyer said maybe a few weeks and should have results. But I am not so sure.
