Alright...so I did my C & P exams (still on active). I noticed that Chronic Fatigue Syndrome was put on my claim form. Somewhere, at sometime, a AF doc had that for a diagnosis; my "claim adder guy" put it in my claim. My C & P exam basically said I show no signs of having it. Now, I did receive a diagnosis of hypersomnia on my sleep study (conducted for possible sleep apnea..which was negative) but that wasn't on my VA claim form and it wasn't mentioned on my C&P exam record (which makes me think I won't receive any rating for it or something related to it). Hypersomnia is rated as a minor seizure. I've had many documentations of fatigue in my records, but I'm not sure how they would come up with a rating for hypersomnia since I have daily fatigue....and they rate it as minor seizures which I don't think correlates. Any thoughts if the VA will see the hypersomnia diagnosis even though it wasn't claimed? Perhaps they can derive it from the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome? Thoughts on a rating?
Also, I noticed on ebenefits that an additional disability claim of "misc" was added weeks after my C&P exams were completed. No clue what that is for. I'm currently awaiting a fit/unfit ruling from the PEB.
