I was recently separated with severance late last year for an ankle condition. I received 10% for it, among other items that were classified as unfitting. Since that time, I have been having more complications with my ankle, and it has severely affected my ability to work. The VA specialist has taken my off of work for up to 40 days at a time. My question is, is this something that I could apply for some sort of "temporary" individual unemployment while I get these issues taken care of? I have been dealing with this issue since March, with no end in sight. I have migraines which are rated at 50% and then a bunch of 10 and 20%'s.
