IPEB board information requested

I am an active duty Air Force Tech Sgt. Back in Sept 2009 I was involved in a motorcycle wreck on my way home for lunch from work. I broke both wrists, six ribs, both clavicles, punctured a lung, and got a traumatic brain injury. I have 18 years 5 months in and am facing a IPEB soon. I have had other issues in the past but am being looked at only for the most recent. I would like to know what to expect and how long the process might take. Ultimately I would like to retire from active duty at 20 years but do not know what rights I have. Can anyone provide me with information?

Welcome! Start reading the link in my signature block, Overview of MEB/PEB Process. That should give you a starting point to understand the process. After that, post any questions you may have. I hope all goes well for you.
