My package arrived on 2 Feb at Randolph AFB. Just heard today from my case manager that I was found unfit on Friday March 23, where they also sent the request for my VA rating!! So 50 days for the IPEB board to convene. I have one condition that went to the board, and three that are going to the VA. My case manager also informed me that the board stated it is taking about 6 weeks to get ratings back from the VA at this current time- his last few cases have been around 35-45 days to get a rating back. Hope this helps anyone that is around the same timeline as me!

I am just a week ahead of you on everything. My PEB was recieved on 30 Jan, and I was found unfit on 16 March. Package recieved by VA on 19 March, but I didn't know about the 35-45 days so thank you. I will let you know if and when I hear anything as it looks like I might before you. I sya might because I am PEB'd on 2 conditions and the VA has 8 so I have more then the average bear.
wow. Mine is behind you all. Peb received it dec 8. Forwarded to va on feb 9. My case was sent from baltimore to Cleveland va. On 12 march the Cleveland va was done with my rating. I sti have no word. I only know these dates because I did a congressional inquiry. My peblo has only said "I don't know till the end" for months now
I could be outprocessing. Anything past two weeks just seems totally unacceptable. I have been waiting since last July when they notified me that I would be going to an MEB and that I should expect to get out. I am ready for the rest of my life now.

Not to alarm everyone, after 4 years of this alarms suck, but my MSC said that the VA is running 2-3 months. I also contacted the VA and they said the same thing. 4-6 weeks would be great but as we all know, don't hold your breath. Good luck!
i had my PEB Started in Oct 2011 and im still waiting, im in the Navy though, seems like you AF guys have a better timeline as far as we do. When i started it my PEBLO pretty much told me to wait 1-3 months and she would give me an update, i still have yet to hear anything and its almost april.
wow this is crazy, I am in learning mode, trying to suck up all the information I can. My hubs just finished with the meb and his stuff will be sent up to peb looks like we have a ways to go.....I am gonna keep my chin up, I finish school in May and have a job lined out back home and we have a house almost paid for there too so we too are ready for the rest of our lives. My kids don't know anything other than the military life so that is going to be an adjustment for them. I just am really scared of being screwed over. I feel the last 2 years when we have needed the military the most for health care for him, they have done just that..... Good luck to all you guys/gals!

^^ im kinda in the same boat. My findings were mailed back to me as of 16MAR12 as of today 27MAR12 my PEBLO still hasnt seen the papers, so im kinda like wtf lol
Hello every one I was wondering where you guys found out about when your PEB was completed and when it was headed to VA. My PEB was supposedly sent up on 10 Feb and I still havent heard anything My PEBLO is clueless as usual and says I should wait 45 days before I should expect to hear from her. I am on JBLM and the PEB is literally a few yards from the MEB so you would think it would run smoothly. I am at the point of throwing my hands up because my PEBLO dosent update or keep me informed. Most of the stuff I find out on here. Any one going through JBLM and have a round about time line of how long the wait is I would appreciate it.
Did the VA inform you when your package arrived? I spoke to them today and they said nothing has been accepted "according to the system." I was wondering if it went via e-mail or snail mail?
The Va Said they got it on the 16th and Started processing for Decision on the 19th of March. EBenefits shows Gathering Evidence for decision, but on the phone they keep telling me its pending Decision approval. The last lady told me that even though it's two different steps on the web page, it's the same step in the office. My 45th day at IPEB for AFPC (Which is how lonf they even take to get to your package to start the review) was the 14th, so about two days later the VA got notified. It took them 4 or 5 days to reflect that in their system though.
Just talked to my MLC. She looked in her computer and told me my VA Decision deadline is 4-18-12. So roughly one month after the VA gets it they should be making a decision. Then according to the PEB lady, its about two more weeks for them to recieve, review and prepare the paperwork, and about a week for your base to get everything to brief.
Well I found out today they fedex our packages from Randolph AFPC to the VA- Mine supposedbly went out on Friday the 23rd. I spoke to another guy at the VA this am and he told me that my package is probably there, but there weren't any notations in the system about it arriving and that can take a week. He also said he used to review claims and that they do it by the order they are received, which I figured. I asked him why mine said "pending decision approval" if they still have to give a rating. He told me, "yours is pretty much done, they just needed the PEB unfit finding before they could progress. Your file has been here since Jan and has already been looked through, you are waiting in line now for them to look at your case and send the rating back to the PEB." I only have 3 conditions to rate, which he said looking in the system were fininshed, just needed the separation paperwork. I really hope that is accurate- just makes me feel uneasy that they haven't annotated receiving my package.
So 6-7 weeks from when it arrives to getting back to me then?
well i got my results back yesterday, took exactly 5 months from start to finish, my sep date is 27APR
Signed my NARSUM 18 JAN 2012, and PEBLO sent my case to IPEB on 20 JAN. VA/Ebenefits shows my compensation claim complete as of 20 MAR 2012, but upon closing/deciding the case they immediately opened another compensation claim on the same date (20 MAR)...WTF? I called VA 1-800# and asked why that happened and all they would say was 'contact your PEBLO'. PEBLO is clueless. Maybe this is an indicator that the VA is done with ratings and have sent/are sending them to IPEB? Anyone else have this happen? PEBLO will only say that he'll 'let me know when he receives IPEB response'.
It seems after reading other posts here that I may receive the IPEB decision and ratings (if any) soon. Am I tracking correctly? Thanks.
