Is it possible?

I am wondering if it is possible to be put in WW. I am 8 months past my EAS, basically no help to my unit and awaiting a FPEB. I tried getting put in WW before I started my MEB but the navy doc made that not possible. He told me to wait until they decide if I was going to be put on a PEB and then they would help me get to WW. But I found out after I started my MEB that I wasn't able to get placed in WW because I was on a MEB. Is there anyway now to be put in WW or am I stuck at my unit? I'm sick of trying to do stuff that I can't and I tired of being looked at like a pos. Any help is appreciated.

Talk with your JAG. Make sure they are not making you work outside of doctors recommendations. Talk with your Admin Chief. If you can go "home waiting orders" while in a PEB status I don't see why they can't transfer you for medical necessity.

The Navy doesn't do "Home awaiting Orders" If you are being seen for a condition that you can be medically waived from the BCA and the PRT Talk with Medical, usually they will help you out with that. You could run into the situation that i ran into. I can't do the PRT i have been Medically waived from BCA and PRT for the past 8.5 cycles. But i got a new PCM and she waived me from the PRT but not the BCA. Also the BCA waiver is a recommendation to the CO not a requirement. If you look it up in the PRT instruction you will see that. I didn't know that thats why i looked it up. With the new navy policy you can be admin sepd for BCA Failure and you will get a severance, Physical part of PRT Failures you get admin sepd with a thanks for service and you get NOTHING from the Navy. JAG is going to tell you the same thing i just told you here. If you do a little research and look up the instructions you will see that if you are in that PRT boat like i am, your hands are really tied. I asked about it when i started my second PEB, because of worsening conditions. My Doc even said it sucks but the PRT is considered an administrative type thing. Not a medical thing. So unless you can get Medical to waive you from both portions of the BCA and the Pyhsical you could in a sense be administratively seperated for the failures. I hate to put it that way but that is what is going on with the Navy. If you are running into that incident what i would say is see what TERA could possibly do for you if you have over 15 years. YOu could always try the BCNR when you get out but i don't know to much about that Jason and Maparker know more about that than i do so i won't step on thier toes cause they truly know alot.

Unless I have read the following Department of Defense Instruction wrong, DoDI 1327.06, which was updated September 30, 2011, the Navy most certainly offers, "Home Awaiting Orders." I want to make sure accurate advice is here for everyone, so please review and give me your thoughts. I find nothing, but the allowance of this should the Command approve it.

I have been askin similar questions in my command, I have been moved from my regular job in January to a desk job but this aggrivates my injuries even more. I recently took leave so I don't have to sit in my office but I only have so much saved.
