I had my meeting with the va rep on 12 June and still have not had one single call or anything to get scheduled for my c&p exams. Should I reach out to her and see what’s going on?

Also-the FL4 came back full MEB, I was told it meant I was for sure getting out of the military and I’m currently “out processing” the military once I start IDES. Is this true? I haven’t had much contact with my PEBLO so I’m curious if my timelines are accurate. I entered IDES 1 June. How long until you were out after entering IDES?

Yes, reach out to the VA rep and see what's going on. You aren't for sure getting out of the military until you are found unfit by the PEB, and they make a final decision after you accept the board's findings. You don't officially start out-processing until you get orders. I started the IDES process back in September and I am still going through it.

It's not a quick process, but this forum helps.

A full MEB is a process that sometimes results in a PEB. Only the PEB can medically retire/separate you from the service due to illness/injury. The process is slow, so take a deep breath. The VA farms out lots of its medical examinations to contractors. Your VA rep (MSC) is the person to contact about what contractor has your file. There are always lots of people in the process so almost nothing happens fast.

My condition was very serious (no brainer full MEB followed by PEB with retirement) and took 14 months from time of event to walking out the door.
