Hey everyone,

People have been so helpful here over the past several months that I want to share my journey as it unfolds. I’m still in the beginnings of med boarding but thought this may help someone going through something similar.

All dates are 2025.

31JAN - P3 Submitted
03FEB - IDES accepted P3
04FEB - Second condition P3 submitted
04FEB - PEBLO assigned/Initial contact
05FEB - PEBLO 30 min meeting

11FEB - MEB brief
 
Did you have to do anything specific to get your IDES acceptance? I had mine submitted at JBLM on 17 January and still haven't gotten final approval authority from the IDES physician on-post.

Nah man

I was the one who replied to your post.

You just need that final signature on your P3. Then, it gets forwarded to the IDES process and your PEBLO will reach out to you.

Since you’re at JBLM, a civilian at Madigan will send you an email notifying you that your officially in the ISES process and tell you who your PEBLO is.
 
Oh yeah you were, lol appreciate you and thanks for the info. Looks like we’re on a similar timeline. It’ll be interesting to see how they compare.

I'm in a similar situation. Glad yours figured itself out. Located At FBNC

I've done a for for duty exam (17 JAN) which led to a recommendation to IDES and another recommended for IDES for a separate issue (7 FEB) and haven't heard anything since my last appointment, (currently 20 FEB).

Is it for something new or another exam for something you already had an exam for?

I had something similar happen to me. VA exams completed and actually they had "closed" my case when i got a call to schedule another appointment. Whole appointment was to answer 2 questions but held up getting everything back from PEB for a couple weeks. Hopefully you were able to schedule it for this week and it's the last thing they need!

Damn, this whole process is a big game of roulette and I’m just stacking L’s lol.

I appreciate the optimism bro. I’m hoping it’s the last thing they need and my DBQs can get submitted right after. Glad to hear you’re back on track though.
 
The way VERA explained it to me the other day is that the VA can request exams for a myriad of reasons such as an initial or for clarification or the DBQ itself is missing info as the provider didn't fill everything out properly before they submitted it.
 
Also at JBLM, packet was sent to PEB this past Monday and my PEBLO told me possibly early June but she is super unresponsive.
