Just started this MEB let’s see how it goes.

my c&p consist of 5 appts
 
If you are curious, after you complete your exam, it may be a while for them to QC those. What I did was go on the VA website and do a FOIA request for my C&P exams and got them within 3 days. I wanted to see what the doctor wrote so I had enough time prior to going over the narsum.

I see 2nd P3 on there. Is that because they added another unfitting condition? I just got a P3 and referred to MEB and definitely have another unfitting condition. It’s just one doc fog to the P3 before the other. I’m hoping to add it to the whole thing early.

Yea when they add a 2nd P3 it means they found another unfitting condition it happened to me as well. After all the C&P exam I the VA diagnosed me with another unfitting condition so the DoD has to add it to your profile before sending it to the PEB.

Yes I had another unfitting condition added. Just be sure to follow through so they add it to your profile

No problem. Good luck. I'm in the waiting stage, been about a week since mine went to the PEB. I posted up my timeline on here as well in case you're looking for a close timeline.

Yea I just read through yours I hope you get what you deserve that’s a terrible situation mines was also a failed surgery that triggered my MEB more so a malpractice smh… do you have an idea of how long you will wait ?

This is the email she sent me;

  1. Just wanted to confirm, I was able to route ALL documents to the PEB on 02 June 2025
  2. When the Ratings process has been completed, your peblo will contact you directly to review your ratings.
  3. Fitness Determination(fit or unfit) takes at least 6 to 8 weeks.
  4. Ratings usually takes * ATLEAST 12 to 16 weeks to complete
so I'm down a week, from those time lines so we will see..

Just had a sm in my unit clear and he started his MEB in Jan it went pretty fast
 
I'm completely open to that. I'm currently moving off base and that was the last thing I needed to do before I could feel good about getting out.

Will you be taking terminal leave ? I keep hearing you have to put it in a certain way or you won’t receive your disability for 60-90 days
 
I will be taking terminal leave. I'm not sure about the getting paid thing. It's based off your actual retirement date. Should be 30 days from that date. You can't get paid disability and be on active duty so that's why. You also can't get paid until you submit your DD214 to the VA to verify your retirement date.

Do you mind if I ask which company did your C&P exams? I am also going through an MEB at JBLM. I went through VES. Exams finished on 22 July. I am curious if the roughly 40 day delay between you completing your exams and receiving your NARSUM is because of their lengthy QA process.
 
I did go through VES as well and mine took a a tad bit longer due to my mental evaluation
